Curry Mango - Lakeland

While in the area, we decided to try out Curry Mango. The restaurant was quite busy for a random Tuesday evening, but had plenty of seating so we were seated right away. The servers were friendly and quick. The food was okay. We started with the tandoori kebab platter and naan, which was delicious. The platter came with 9 juicy and flavorful kebabs. For our main dishes, we tried the butter chicken, which was too sweet for our liking, and the Kerala chicken curry, which was quite good but not something we would make a long drive for in the future.

We enjoyed every bite of our meal at this restaurant, from the bread to the entrees. The chicken wings were crispy and delicious, and the fresh garlic naan bread was a favorite. I had the seafood mango salmon, while my husband tried the dalmakhani. The service was excellent, with drinks kept full and a cohesive team working together to serve tables. The price per person was reasonable, ranging from $10-20 for dinner.

I do not recommend this restaurant for Indian food. The portion sizes were very small considering the price. The quality of the Indian food was terrible. I would rate the food 2 out of 5, the service 4 out of 5, and the atmosphere 4 out of 5.

Review: My experience dining in at this restaurant was fantastic. I had brunch, and the price per person ranged from $30 to $50. The food was top-notch, I would rate it a 5 out of 5. The service was excellent as well, also a 5 out of 5. The atmosphere was welcoming and pleasant, another 5 out of 5. I highly recommend trying the Goat Curry, Chicken Tikka Masala with Garlic Naan, Lamb Tikka Masala, Vegetarian Pakora, Chicken Dum Biryani, and Wings. For vegetarians, there are plenty of options to choose from, with a separate vegetarian menu or section and clearly labeled vegetarian dishes. Overall, a great place to enjoy a delicious meal.
