Chick-fil-a - Lakeland

I felt compelled to give a shout-out to the hardworking staff at this restaurant. Just two hours after reopening following Hurricane Ian, the drive-thru line was incredibly long. Despite our initial frustration, we were eager to enjoy some hot food since we had no power at home. Great job, everyone!

Usually they are good, but yesterday at 330 they were busy, not unusual for them, but I guess because the line they chose to pull soon. it was so greasy on the outside and of course on the inside. we had to wait as it is so few minutes to get a properly cooked chicken should not be a big thing. that's much worse. the people are about to get more frigal with their money.

There are no cash. they can't stand in and order. they have stopped having an app and so order. or maybe someone will eventually wander and suffer. when we reached the order, our food came packed to get out, although we had specified that we stayed in the dining room to eat. for two people we have 3 paper bags and a huge plastic bag. seems like excess waste.

Eating is always delicious! a couple of times service has left little to wish and the it area was not cleaned. the majority of our visit staff are polite and very accommodating. we choose this place about others because they are still busy, they are able to handle the haste. the new directive, not to accept orders in the theke, unless they appear, is somewhat uncomfortable (especially if they are on a large vehicle or have a trailer). they press the use of their mobile app that is frustrating. as a few visits I waited while others who came in after me were greeted and served before me.

Jackson went above and beyond to keep us dry as we were leaving tonight. He held up an umbrella for us and walked us to our car in the thunderstorm. Both kids agreed that he was the best worker tonight! Thanks Jackson for keeping us dry!
