Hidden Cafe - Lake Zurich

This place should be called Hidden Gem! My friend and I met there for dinner. It's such a cute space with a beautiful eclectic assortment of tables and chairs. The food was delicious! I had the perogi and my friend had the pineapple chicken. We would both highly recommend this place!

Loved the food! The schnitzel was done to perfection as were the potato pancakes with smoked salmon. We'll definitely go back!

Let me say first the food was very good, but the service was strange. First Merlot wine is ALWAYS served at room temperature, this was chilled, not right. Next thier was 3 in our party and my wife got her dinner first. We were waiting for 10 minutes and we told her to start before it gets cold. Next my dinner came in a few more minutes and it look nice, but I didn't see a baked potato on plate, there were small pieces of potatoes that were sautéed. I ask server where is my baked potato, he informed me that they were out and said he made the choice of another option for me. I thought that was strange. But I waited a few minutes more waiting for my son's meal which came 10 minutes later. This is not how good restaurants serve, they serve all at one time. So good meals but very different service style.
