Alabama Joe's - Lake Worth Beach

We recently had dinner twice at AJ's. It's dog friendly. They bring out water for them, and we were able to order chicken for our doggie at a very reasonable price. The servers have been very friendly and accommodating. They have daily dinner deals and $3 margaritas on Tuesdays. Their chocolate vanilla martini is delicious. I've also enjoyed the Teriyaki rice bowl. Their website is nicely designed, so it was easy to pull up the menus. [hidden link]

We came here with our whole family (party of 6). Server was not great. She didn 't know if you had coke or Pepsi, or what sides came with any of the entrees, or what toppings were on the side salad. 3/5 of the entrees were over cooked, and gross. Mahi was dry and overcooked, meatloaf was like a lock of breadcrumbs, and my husbands burger not only had the incorrect toppings, but was ordered Med Rare and came out well done. No one cared that the food and service was bad, when it was brought up we were just told new system, and new staff . Not only will we not be back but we wasted the $80 we spent tonight. Had they taken responsibility and owned up, or even taken off the over cooked incorrect meal, we would be back, but they can 't even get good service right... Also, the table next to us walked out due to the long food wait. It was not only us.

This place was very weird. The server was a little flaky and not completely all there. I believe that this restaurant considers itself a sports bar; however, we ate there on a Saturday afternoon. They had the Romance Channel on at least one of their tv 's. Really? They also didn 't have any NCAA March Madness games on. They were showing International Hockey, a BMX show and a few other odd program choices. The server took our order and brought out our drinks. She disappeared several times throughout our lunch and I literally caught her just hanging out at the bar (with other employees) when our drinks needed to be refilled. The food was average and the portion sizes were on the small side. I don 't know if I would go back here because it was just plain odd. There were one or two servers who seemed to care about their customers and the other ones were just there to talk to their coworkers. I had to ask several times to change the channel to the NCAA tournament. She finally got the remote and changed it to an NBA game. Come on! Are you really that out of it? There are plenty of other sports bars that are much better than this one. I think I 'll probably stick to those ones.

Came here and ordered fried fish and chips and ordered some drinks. The food is pretty good here. The fish is very flavorful and flaky and crispy. Drinks were served quickly however, the overall service is slow and in attentive. If you're looking for service, I would recommend coming here, but the food is pretty decent. This is a normal sports bar with cleanliness expected of a sports bar. I come here, mainly for the drink deals.

Reasonable food, with variety. Service is quite good, with indoor outdoor seating. I like the atmosphere. Tables and seats not crowded together. One of the few indoor places I will eat in.
