Granny's Kitchen - Lake Wales

This is a fantastic restaurant, home to the best Fish 'n' Chips in Wales. While Bill's Cafe also offers delicious fish and chips, they only serve it on Fridays.

The restaurant might receive a higher rating when they have a full menu available. The limited menu during the car show event offers a somewhat limited selection. I understand that this isn't typically during their regular operating hours. We'll definitely consider returning, possibly for breakfast or lunch, to give it another try!

This place serves some of the best fish in town. The cod sandwich and fried shrimp are both fantastic, and their chicken strips with homemade batter are really delicious. It's definitely one of my favorite restaurants to visit!

We've tried this restaurant 3 times and haven't had a great experience any of the times. The first visit we waited an hour for our food, which was mediocre. The second visit service was ok, but the food was disappointing. The 3rd (and final chance) visit,the sign stated they were serving breakfast until 11. It was 10:30 and the cook decided to stop making breakfast. Anothercustomer sarcastically told us to order dinner, since she waited for 45 minutes for her eggs and toast. The rest of her partyreceived their food and finished eating prior to her receiving her food. Do not waste your time with this restaurant. If you arewanting to eat local, go elsewhere like the Lake Wales Family Diner or Anita's Mexican Restaurant.

Great place to eat. Met our guests from the Villages there. Loved the selections. Settled for shrimp and was totally satisfied, as was the whole party.
