Jimmy's 21 Lake Side Italian

Went here for dinner with my family and was a wonderful meal. The rack of lamb was incredible and the atmosphere was wonderful. Perfect time for conversation and getting to know my new in laws!

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!! Our Airbnb host recommended Jimmy's for dinner. From the moment we entered, the service was excellent. Zeke was amazing, and ensured we had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious, and the views of Mirror Lake were gorgeous. We can't recommend Jimmy's enough. Our last night in LP was memorable and left us wanting to return thanks to Jimmy's. ASK FOR THE ESPRESSO MARTINI it's not on the menu but it's the best in town.

We had a family dinner for fifty people. Everyone raved about the food and the servers were great. The view was amazing and the evening was a memorable and delicious success. I would love to go back.

Had a really wonderful dinner here tonight. The view is incredible. Great, friendly service from Luc. The food was also amazing! Not sure why trout piccata isn’t on more menus but it’s was excellent! Burrata ravioli with pistachio pesto also was very unique and really good. My son loved the chocolate mousse cake. I’m confused about the reviews that talk about the price point. For the prime location, large portions and high quality, I thought the price was very reasonable. Highly recommended this spot for a nice dinner! Kid-friendliness: Came with our 7 year old. Great kids menu. Waiter was great with our son. There were several families eating there.

If you are seeking a delicious meal while visiting Lake Placid make this one of your stops!! I suggest making a reservation because they do get really busy. We had a beautiful spot overlooking the lake. The bread and oil they provided was fresh and delicious. We started off the dining experience with the lobster bisque and burrata. The bisque was depth in flavor, rich, and creamy. The burrata was fresh and paired with the arugula was a burst of freshness one could expect. For our main course, my husband ordered the veal chop and I the Frutti Di Mare. The portion on both meals was well, you won’t leave hungry. The veal chop was cooked to perfection and flavorful. The frutti di mare was out of the world. The seafood was amazing, the red broth was soooo tasty and paired with the handmade fresh pasta was perfection. The service was amazing and the restaurant atmosphere just added to the delight of our meals. We will definitely go back next time we are in Lake Placid!!
