Uncle Carlo’s Italian - Lake Park

My girlfriend and I tried this restaurant for the first time recently. The decor inside was very nice and family-friendly. Our server was friendly, informative, and helpful since it was our first visit. We were also impressed to see the owner personally serving and clearing tables in the dining room. When we asked him if he was the owner, he confirmed and was very friendly. The food was delicious - we tried the potato croquette with homemade marinara sauce, recommended by our server, and it was excellent. My girlfriend enjoyed her Alfredo with chicken, which was flavorful, and I liked my Italian flag dish. The presentation of each pasta dish in individual bowls was a nice touch. The prices were reasonable for the portion sizes. We would definitely return to this restaurant in the future!

I highly recommend this restaurant as it is a hidden gem. The owners and staff are fantastic and accommodating. Every dish we ordered was delicious. They even went out of their way to remake my bread pudding without the bourbon sauce, which they didn't have to do but I truly appreciated. The food is amazing and I would definitely suggest this place to others.

I have visited Uncle Carlos' restaurant three times now and have never been disappointed with the food, service, or atmosphere. My husband and I have tried a different entree each time, and each one deserves a 5-star review. The staff and ambiance are both incredible!

What a pleasant surprise. After a night at the local theme park we looked at the map for restaurants, not expecting to find one late. Uncle Carlo’s stood out to me because it was local, had great reviews, and open until 10 pm on Friday and Saturday. They took us in 20 minutes till closing and everything was amazing. To start, they brought out the bread and oil. That along with really nice salads started everything right. My 5 year old wanted a plain cheese pizza. What came out was truly delicious for something so simple. I order chicken parm. It was nice. My wife had the stuffed salmon. Everything from the stuffing to the veggies were just perfect. It was late so we took cannolis to go and I’ll say theirs would rival any of the famous places. It’s a great restaurant that we found very clean and friendly.

Glad we took a pit stop here! Fantastic hot chicken wings, like actually hot, homemade, spicy chicken wings. Yum. Rice balls and soup were great, and enjoyed the lasagna and Italian wine! Great place to enjoy an evening out, or even if just passing through.
