This is supposed to be a high end restaurant. We (two of us) first called the restaurant to reserve a table and no one answered the phone. Then reserved on open table and requested a table with a lake view. I get that that is just a request, but they seated us by ourselves in an open area by the kitchen, saying that all the lake view tables were taken. We were there for over 2 hours and no one sat at two of the lake view tables. We were also told that they don't really know how to work with Open Table. Frustrating. Our waiter had just started and didn't know what to do with wine. Clearly had no training. The food was good but not worth the cost. Also, there was a “special” menu that evening, which was disconcerting because we'd seen a menu before that and were looking forward to ordering from that. And, a squirrel got into the restaurant and went into the kitchen. We don't know whether they got it out or not.
The brunch was terrible. the carving beef was tough prime rib. the chicken and pork were tough and had no flavor. the only decent thing was the omelette station and the shrimp. definitely not worth 41 dollars per person!! will not go back but will make reservations at another venue mike terry
Way overpriced for the quality of food. Probably won't dine there again.
Suppose to be high end restaurant with high prices. We went with a reservation for 6 people. Took 1 hour to get 2 orders of onion rings, which just okay not great. For the main entree steak was warm,well done and could not cut it. Other entrees at our table similar poor quality and served not as described by the waitress. Very disappointed we will go to Outback, Bentlys or BaxtersWe will not be back to HK.
