Tokyo Japanese Steakhouse

I always order for pickup ... I haven't had the pleasure of dining in and watching the hibachi show, but it looks fun when I'm inside picking up my to go order the diners are always having fun! I usually order the combo fried rice or lo mein noodles a couple of sushi rolls, the food is always good!

This is a great spot for hibachi dining. Our chef was lively and entertaining, though our friend's little one (around a year old) was giving him quite the stare. The service was quick and friendly. The fried rice was delicious, as was the shrimp. However, the Angus steak was just okay; we requested it medium rare, but it came out medium well. I wouldn't recommend spending money on a better cut of meat if it's just going to be overcooked. Overall, it's a nice place that I would definitely visit again.

We visited the restaurant on a Friday afternoon. Although it had been quite busy an hour before, it was not crowded when we arrived, so we were seated immediately. Our order was taken promptly, and the food came out quickly. The chicken teriyaki we tried was slightly different from what we had enjoyed for years in Albuquerque, but it was incredibly fresh and flavorful. We really enjoyed our meal!

My wife and I decided to do a spur the moment trip to the beach. After we spent all day at the beach and has showered at our hotel in Lake Jackson, we wanted to get some dinner but did not want to drive far to get it. Luckily for us there was a japanese steakhouse and sushi bar in the parking lot of our hotel. We decided to eat dinner here and when we arrived, the restaurant was welcoming but the staff was nowhere to be seen. We finally got seated in the dinner section since we did not want to do the table side grill. The menu is very large and has a ton of options. Our waitress only came over once to get drink orders and dinner orders. This was frustrating. It took forever for our food to come, we almost just walked out and left money for the drinks we had. Once our food came, it looked delicious and it was. There was plenty of food to fill you up and it tasted great. The only real complaint I had was the service just sucked. I probably wont be coming back to this restaurant because of the service. Overall the establishment was clean and welcoming and the food was delicious but the service was subpar and they desperately need to hire more staff.

I had cockroaches crawling all over me. This place is disgusting and dirty. They still made me pay for my food or they gave me was a three dollar discount.The manager never came out to apologize or talk to me
