178 Grill - Lake Isabella

Jeff was super nice and accommodating. There 's a nice bar area with seating and a separate dining area with plenty of viewing screens for football. I had the Nashville chicken sandwich and my lady had the pig with some delicious homemade cheese and broccoli soup. The **** Mary 's were delicious too. I was looking for bloodies and football and I got it with good food and nice service.

We had burgers all the way around but we weren't told that they were automatically fried rare and literally were raw. We had to bring the burgers home and actually refry them to be thoroughly cooked. Now for most folks that may be okay but for us it wasn't and we felt that we should have been told they were always cooked rare.

Too Burnt to expensive.Let's talk Burnt/ burnt hash browns Burnt ham, over easy burnt eggs Burnt toast Only thing that was not Burnt was the Ketchup. And 55.00 for two people 2 meals 2 beers

Sept 20th, no one came around asking if we wanted to order. I had to go in to order. I only ordered two appetizers. Freckles and garlic fries.Took over 40 minutes to get and I had to go get them. There was two others also having to ask for their food. Was not busy enough for such slow service. Idk if it's because it sat so long or just bad food but the fries and freckles were both barely lukewarm. Freckles, not large and the batter just fell off. Small handful of fries and the spears was not large. Too much for what little food we got.On a positive note the garlic fries was good would have been better if served hot. ?

This is one we go to when we are in Lake Isabella. Best burgers ever!
