Poke Bros. - Lake in the Hills

We get Poke Bros take out at least once a month. While the food is always good, the customer service is poor. Once they made a mistake on my order and when I noticed I had them fix it. They made the same incorrect order again and acted like I was an inconvenience. Unfortunately, the lack of communication with multiple members of my family is making it harder to be return customers.

Had a DIY with 1 whole portion of spicy tuna and 1 whole portion of marinated tuna, easy rice, salad, avocado, cucumber, jalapeno, green onion,ponzu, Sriracha aioli and it was just perfect.

While I agree with other reviews that portions are small, that's what I love about this place. I'm never over stuffed when we eat here (it's so good that I eat the whole thing even though I know I probably shouldn't). Everything is so fresh and crisp and the rice has been perfectly cooked every time. They have a clean restaurant. We will continue to come back as it's our new favorite place!

Food is delicious but unfortunately the portions are way to small for what you pay for. They give maybe 3oz of your protein choice (at most) which sucks.

Got takeout with my husband last week, we enjoyed it so much we came back again for lunch yesterday afternoon. A new employee was clearly working. She scanned the menu after I ordered the Duke, checked it again for each item she added. I had to tell her which sauce was the sriracha aioli. My predominantly rice bowl was less than half full by the end of it, but still $14. My husband had the same bowl, made by another employee, it looked completely different and at least twice as big. I left hungry and very disappointed. For $14, an employee who does not yet know what they are doing should not be unsupervised making the bowls. Will be hesitant to come back after this. This establishment also does not have water available for customers?just bottled water for purchase. EDIT: pretty disappointing reply lack of attempt to actually make this right with the customer. It?s too bad you don?t seem concerned with the $14 I paid for the last bowl of rice. Won?t be back to double down on that mistake.
