Ruth's Chris Steak House - Lake Grove

My fillet was cooked perfectly! So tender and so flavorful! I ordered it medium rare and it was perfect! The crab cakes were OMG so good! All crabmeat! The bartender was very attentive and pleasant. The place was immaculate and our corner booth was very comfortable. I love that we have a Ruth Chris right near the mall. Will definitely be back again!

We jave dined at RC at various locations in the metro area and Florida. Manhattan is tops. However, this is not a negative review but one that cannot be described as exceptional. First time at a Ruth Chris Steak House. This Lake Grove location is relatively new. Everything inside was pristine. We were promptly greeted and seated. I am not sure if the waitress was having a bad day or this is the how she usually works but management should look into this. I've been to Ruth's around the country with a pretty consistent experience. Tonight we had an ok experience. Lobster bisque, watery and bland Brussels and garlic potatoes, ok Shrimp that came with our steak, awefill, small, warm, and bland Plates and glasses; filthy However, NY strip and two Fillets... Awesome. Perfect cook and taste. And the staff, friendly. Overall, at this level, I expected better. Hope they can improve on the simple stuff
