Dunham's Bay Resort - Lake George

Many staff members made it a point to check in on us during our stay, which really made us feel at home. Matte and Ashley, along with others at the front desk, greeted us with big smiles each time we passed by and always asked about our day. I want to give a special mention to Andrew and Ashley, as they were particularly helpful when we were heading to the Fire the Duck restaurant in the evenings. One afternoon while we were at the pool, Matte even took the time to ask us how our visit was going. You won’t find a better place to stay when visiting the lake. Every morning while we enjoyed breakfast on the veranda, we would see John and his crew, who always stopped by to see if we needed anything or if everything was okay with our cabin. A great bonus is that they have a small beach area right on-site, which was wonderful for cooling off after a long day of exploring the lake. My family and I are already looking forward to returning next year and every year after!

Terrible experience. This hotel is the worst. I strongly advise against staying here. The staff doesn't know how to properly greet their guests. It was a horrible environment overall. The rooms were filthy, and I even found a cockroach in my bed and shower. I can't recommend this place at all. The poor service and conditions ruined my entire week. I will never return.

Not a reviewer, but had to share this. a rate charged the other, reserved a cabin got a duplex single story apartment. asked for 2 q k beds was no problem got 1 q and 2 twins. the shower was clogged so there was no shower to the shower, they have child-high toilet seats hard for seniors, all the furniture were in poor shape and hard to open. platz is for 4 people, but only 3 kitchen table chairs, I asked about it and was said so that the gast does not damage the wall." dining chairs were so unstable that I was afraid that my dad would fall, was said oh trust me that they are not so bad. in the morning the water pump healed, which was so loud that they fell asleep. the restaurant, which is rated 4.5, now! 3 of the 4 meal times were cold and not well done. restaurant advertised lavender lemonade image shows actually lavender colored drink on the display. drink I got was not lavender flavored or lavender color. it was clear and that was eating. we went a day early and were not asked why, oh ok bye was told. after all this we paid 2k for 5 days and in 4. what a sham

The cabins are clean. The staff is friendly. The staff takes care to make sure that you're having a good visit if you need anything they are quick to accommodate whatever you need.This is our go to place whenever we're in the area

We spent a beautiful week in juli not the first time in this wonderful resort. all the staff is very pleasant. clean bed linen delivered every morning, firebox in front of cabins and müll took up every morning. call the cynical at night to illuminate a fireplace and a wonderful way to finish your day! beautiful beach area over the street. pool and whirlpool always clean and refreshing. our family is looking forward to enjoying many more holidays in the dunham bay lodge. the 2 bedroom cabins offer our family perfect. thanks matt and staff for another great week!
