My wife and I went to celebrate our anniversary. Nice view, even not from a window seat, attentive and knowledgeable server. I had the arctic char, she had the halibut caprese. Both were very large portions, both were cooked nicely and were very tasty. Glad we didn't order an appetizer because we had room to split the chocolate tuxedo cake.

Came here for the 1st time celebrating a grandparents 80th birthday. Ordered the $70 Prime Ribeye which looked absolutely amazing when it came to the table. After the first bite I was very disappointed. The steak was very tough and had lots of inedible parts. I 've had my share of prime grade steaks at places like 5 'oclock steakhouse, Flemming 's, and Capital Grille and this steak was definitely not prime ...more like choice imo. The steak was served on a bed of mashed potatoes that were very bland and did not have a nice whipped consistency. My 11 year old son wouldn 't touch his either. The broccoli that came with was overcooked and also lacked any flavor. Was very disappointed and dissatisfied with the meal. Our server did not ask how the meal was at any point after the plate was delivered. Will not be back and almost feel ripped off after spending $300+ for 2 adults and child. I 've never had a bad meal at any of the mentioned restaurants listed above and they 've all gone above and beyond to ensure we were enjoying our meal.I felt I paid for the nice atmosphere and Lake Geneva status if anything.

We drove from Huntley Il. to find a nice place to dine for our 44th wedding anniversary. Well, we found it here. It checked all of the boxes from the service at the bar to the service and food at dinner. The meals were perfect but sadly, had no room for dessert.Parking: Parking was not an issue at 6pm on a Friday.

Took my wife here for our 5 year anniversary. Non the less we won’t be going back. Food wasn’t the greatest and for the amount you pay didn’t get that much. I got a 70 dollar steak. One would think it would come with mushroom if you wanted. Nope had to loose my potatoes to get mushrooms. Then after the waitress boxed my leftover I opened it the next to see my leftover mushrooms were gone… coolNot to mention we only received 1 drink during our meal due to the lack of checking on during our meal.They’re a several better places locally to go to as opposed to this place…Ps even if you say it’s a special occasion when making a reservation you probably still won’t get a window seat

The Grandview Restaurant was a good choice for our special dinner. Located in the Geneva Inn, it offers stunning views of Geniva Lake. On line reservations were easy (I liked the text reminders . The service was excellent, the food very good. (The tomato sauce on the scallops was spicy, but did season them, the rice vegetables perfectly.
