Bobby's Place By The Lake - LAKE GENEVA

My husband and I were quite disappointed with the fries and chicken tenders. While they clearly put a lot of effort into the pub burger, the rest of the food was rather bland. On top of that, they charged us for tap water. We were hoping for a fantastic experience, but it turned out to be underwhelming at best. We won’t be returning.

This place goes beyond standard bar fare. They offer handmade hamburgers that are far from your average fast food patties! They also have delicious homemade soups and chili. The wraps and panini sandwiches are fantastic, and the ice cream is simply awesome!

Great time with friends, delicious food, and fantastic drinks—all top-notch! The fish fry was outstanding!

As a long-time resident, I regret that we waited so long to try Bobby's. Upon entering, we were pleasantly surprised by how clean and well-organized the restaurant and bar were, with a convenience store located in the back. The owner greeted us right away, took our drink orders, and provided us with menus. The menu offers a great variety, including burgers, wraps, steaks, appetizers, and other entrees. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger, while my wife opted for the Reuben. The burger was cooked to perfection, absolutely delicious, and the bun was fresh, along with the condiments. My wife raved about her Reuben, claiming it's the best in the area, and after trying a bite myself, I completely agreed. We returned last Friday for the fish fry and had the pleasure of meeting the owner's two sons, who were both friendly and had a great sense of humor. The fish fry was outstanding, and the clam chowder was incredible! The prices for food and drinks are very reasonable, especially for this area. We can't wait to return and will definitely be making it a regular spot.

What a great place! The owner and his sons are a lot of fun. I also enjoyed the little market they have attached. I will definitely visit again!
