Had a classic supper club experience at Anthony’s. Ambiance is right from 1970 a bit tired but so fitting. Full scale supper club menu with cocktails, fancy appetizers, steaks, ribs, seafood, etc. Attentive service from a well seasoned staff. Tenderloin and walleye dinners were perfectly cooked and presented. Fully priced, but nicely delivered.
Stopped by on a hand-written note attached to a menu in our B&B and couldn't have been more pleased! The steak was fantastic with huge portions, but the star of the show was a creamy French onion soup that was the best we'd ever had! Our server Kat was knowledgable not only about menu items but also the history of the restaurant--she even sat down with us to answer our questions! We *highly* recommend eating at Anthony's!
Retro vibe style steakhouse from the 70s had the best Filet Mignon Queen size with garlic mashed potato’s. Best steak ever.
The prices aren't low but the quality is high and the portions aren't skimpy. This was the best steak I've had in the USA. The steak was cooked perfectly, the seafood is well prepared also. The staff were wonderful and down to earth; a lot of places in this price range have staff that think they are doing you a favor by letting you in the door. The portions are generous and the only thing they didn't seem to make in-house was the ketchup. Kid-friendliness: They do have a kids menu but it is a little more pricey than most at $19.99 but the food here truly is exquisite
