The Bagel Shack - Lake Forest

These bagels are amazing but the service is not great. I arrived at 6:35am with 3 customers in front of me and 5 behind me. One customer ahead of me ordered a dozen bagels, just like I did. Even though there were only 10 customers in line, I was the last to receive my order at 6:55am. It took 20 minutes for someone to choose 12 random bagels, while 4 employees were busy making breakfast sandwiches and only 1 cashier was working. The lack of an efficient system is frustrating. It would be better if they had pre-packed dozen bagels ready to go to reduce wait times, but instead, the wait can be up to 30 minutes which is disappointing.

Bagel shack is our FAAAAAV. Whenever we are at the beach we always make sure to come here. The bagels are so good and no other bagel place really compares. Can’t go wrong with any thing you get here!! 10/10 definitely recommend.

The best bagels I have had and they are fresh-baked. Service is excellent and it's my go-to for bagels. I wish they would open up a location in Oceanside

Amazing bagels! I’ve never tried a sun dried tomato bagel before even though they’re two of my favorite foods. Lots of great flavors. Staples and new. Of their sandwiches, I’ve only had the lower with bacon but it’s delicious!This place is consistent. Never had a bad experience there. Always such fast and FRIENDLY service. Shout out to Chad. Highly recommend.

Pretty decent bagel shop when it's NOT busy. This place is small and when it gets pounded with people, it can take a bit to get your food. Bagels are always fresh and outfitted great. These are much larger than Einsteins and a bit more dense (filling)
