Rubio's Coastal Grill - Lake Forest

There are numerous vegan choices that are made fresh to order at this restaurant. From quinoa salad and burritos to tacos, the options are plentiful. You can choose between Impossible meat or grilled vegetables for protein. Some dishes may come with a dressing or queso fresco, but it's easy to request it without. Everything I've tried here has been warm, fresh, and delicious. I typically seek out vegan restaurants, but they are scarce in my area. It's wonderful to have this delectable option available.

This is the 1ST time I've tried Rubios and most say it was a good experience the food is healthy and not to heavy for lunch I liked it and the seasoning was great I definitely recommend it you can even enjoy it with the family

The Original Fish taco was awful. Had to search for the piece of fish. Service was slow. One cook in the kitchen. Not the cleanest place with such a minimal staff on hand on a Saturday afternoon. For some unknown reason the everything had a bitter taste. Including the Churros!

I ordered the mahi mahi lime bowl and it looked nothing like the picture on the app. When I asked why it didn't come with any lettuce, the cashier told me it was supposed to come with 1 oz. I asked her to please look at my bowl because it didn't have any lettuce, and she reluctantly handed me a small container of lettuce. I couldn't believe it. The prices for the entrees were just okay for what you actually get. The customer service needs more training. On the positive side, the seats were comfortable and the dining area was clean.

My sister and I decided to stop and eat at Rubio's a couple weeks ago on a Friday afternoon. She ordered her Shrimp Tacos and I ordered a bean and cheese burrito with Steak and a side of chips . We decided to get a beer with our order and therefore we're told to sit inside the designated area and we did . While waiting we asked for some salsa for the chips and burrito being we just paid 46.00 for what we ordered for fast food . She was told no she would have to buy salsa Fresca for just a little side of it for the burrito as it was dry and I personally didn't like the spicy mild sauce. No I told her not to pay for the side as it was enough money paid . I feel if you really want to make your customers happy what's a small side of salsa ? We just spent over 45.00 dude . Ok well this isn't my first time of Foothill Ranch fast food restaurant f needing their EXTRA for a side of sauce ARBYS requested the same . Funny how other areas aren't quite as cheap . I can see if one is asking for 4 or 5 but 1 side ? Ok shows how greedy you are . I don't need to eat here again especially for 45.00 we can eat at a sit down restaurant and get our salsa .
