Lake Ferry

Went there with wife for lunch,she had whitebait fritter and i had fishnchips.wife enjoyed hers,and mine was great,only grumble was their was no tomato and tartare sauce as advertised and only one fish instead of two,lady was very freindly.

Such a fabulous place to try a bit of authentic Kiwi dining. Fire was on and while it was cold outside, we got to enjoy lunch and a glass of wine by the fire. Service: 5

We had lunch at the ferry and it was the best burgers and fish n chips we had eaten in a very long time!! They were absolutely delicious and excellent portions and value for money. Even the picky kids did not leave a morsel. Highly highly recommended for quality of ingredients, service and location. Service: 5

We had lunch at Lake Ferry and the meal was great. Two steak burgers, chicken tenders and a fish and chips. Atmosphere was very good as was Matariki day and was packed. Good selection of beers with a few wine selections.. one observation was the glassware could do with a polish but did not dampen our day. We will return there again for a meal as was a great day out. Best fish chips I've had in a long time. Took a group of business people there. Great staff everyone commented on how nice the fish was. Highly recommend. Service: 5
