I had a fantastic night enjoying live music and eating amazing pizza at this restaurant. The views were spectacular and it was an overall wonderful experience!
Marno's pizza is absolutely delicious. It can be a bit of a wait on a busy day, but the whole point is to go out and enjoy the venue, sip some wine and bring some good company. Marno's vegan pizza is the absolute best I've ever had, and anyone in the valley looking for great dairy meat-free pizza should head up to Blind Tiger and find her truck!
The atmosphere at this winery restaurant is wonderful, set in a beautiful location. The pizza truck tends to be very busy on weekends, so be prepared to wait a bit on warm days. The owner is a local from Lake Country who learned how to make pizza in Italy. The pizzas made here are Neapolitan style, so if you are expecting traditional American style pies, you may be disappointed. The pizzas have thin crusts with tomato sauce, rather than sliced tomatoes, and high quality toppings are added sparingly. While the pizza is very good, we found that the crust was not crispy the last time we visited, which may have been due to the busy environment causing the pizzas to not cook long enough, or the use of boxes that caused them to steam before being eaten. It's best to make sure the pizzas are cooked properly and eaten right away. I live nearby and often grab pizza to go on my way home, as I'm not a fan of the wine served there. I have tried the Margherita, Carnivore, and Capricciosa pizzas, and enjoy all three. My personal favorite is the Capricciosa for its artichoke hearts, while my husband prefers the Carnivore. This restaurant truly is a hidden gem in the local area.
The best pizza anywhere. The crust , the flavors are perfectly balanced and not overdone. Suggest the Meat Lovers or the Margherita . The only pizza that comes close is what we enjoyed in Europe last year. Now we don't have to go so far. Unfortunately only open during the summer.
