Lake City Cafe

We made the drive over from Creede and let's just say we will be making the drive many more times in the future because the food is fantastic. I personally had the Catfish and loved it. Some in our group had the signature Chicken fried Steak which lived up to its reputation. No one in our party was disappointed. We also had the pleasure of speaking with the owner. He was very friendly and shared with us how almost everything is hand cut and made. He also shared his love for the wonderful community of Lake City.

Visiting from Tennessee, a little recharge in the middle of our camping trip. My nut allergies were accommodated well! I had a very yummy large mocha, husband enjoyed his coffee. His favorite was the dark roast. I had a tasty yogurt parfait, generous size, topped with blueberries and sliced strawberries. (Optional granola, was still great w/o He was pleased with his breakfast sandwich. Decor was lovely. We hope to come back on another vacation (and try some non-breakfast meals!! as we enjoyed our relaxing stay in Lake City. The views are beautiful. We stayed in the G&M cabins across the street.

Food was good. Not enough staff for a Friday evening. Our server worked very hard to make up for the long wait she was great. Dog friendly patio seating. Check them out.

Wow. wow, you can't come to lake city without stopping at the lake city cafe! we started with loaded points, then I shared the fried welsplatte with my mother.
