Pizza Artista - Lake Charles

We stopped at this restaurant on our way to New Orleans and were pleasantly surprised by the delicious pizza. It was so good that we wished there was one like it closer to where we live. We were happy to find out that they offer a gluten-free crust for those with dietary restrictions. When we placed our order, they even asked if it was a preference or an allergy, showing attention to detail in preventing cross contamination. The service was excellent and we enjoyed our lunch in the cozy atmosphere.

The food at this restaurant was tasty, but there were several additional issues that arose during the dining experience. They were out of anchovies, the sweet tea was not up to par, the ice machine was not functioning, and when asked for a toothpick, none were available. Overall, the attention to detail was lacking. Despite these setbacks, the food, service, and atmosphere all received a rating of 4 out of 5.
