Jims Seafood - Lake Charles

We visit this restaurant frequently and really enjoy the popcorn shrimp. However, this time we decided to try the oysters and were extremely disappointed. The oysters, which are imported, did not taste good at all. We will definitely be returning to the restaurant, but will not be ordering the oysters again.

Jim's Seafood is hands down my favorite spot for delicious and affordable fried food. I recently visited during my lunch break and ordered a popcorn shrimp dinner with fried rice and two eggrolls. Let me tell you, their eggrolls are the best in Lake Charles. Everything on their menu is made to order, so you can expect crispy and flavorful dishes. The shrimp were perfectly crisp and hot, and the rice went perfectly with a side of soy sauce.

They are so efficient. Cooked Fast while you wait food. The wait was not long. Cash payment only at this time. I ordered the combo. 3 fried shrimp, 3 oysters, 1 catfish w/fried rice.

Will definitely be back! The popcorn shrimp, egg rolls, and fried rice were off the chain! Yummy in my tummy!

Jim's has always been the spot since when I stayed in Lake Charles as a teenager. I doubt there is anyone in the city who hadn't had Jim's before.
