Chart House - Lake Charles

Started with drinks in the bartender was snoring and full of itself. sitting once for dinner, waiting for a server for at least 20 minutes. at last she had to go back to the hostess and she went and found him somewhere behind. eating was marginal. salat was dry and utterly small and chewing. hopefully only a bad night. we were ahead and had better experiences than this trip. I'd hate it when it goes downhill.

Comfortable and clean. Great dining experience. Will be going back.

We found all of the food to be very bland, which was quite disappointing for one of Tillman’s properties. We have been to many of Tillman’s restaurants and this is the first one that disappointed us. Service and atmosphere was great though, it’s just the food really had no flavor.

The food was average. The bread and pimento cheese was delicious. The chargrilled oysters weren’t really chargrilled, they were more like baked with Parmesean. The chopped salad was very wet and droopy. The prime rib which I ordered medium rare was very Luke warm. You can serve medium rare and hot at the same time. The lava cake didn’t even flow with chocolate when I cut it open. The old fashioned’s were really good but they came with regular red cherries not luxardo cherries($13 each). The ambiance was really nice. The server was very good.

Our food still hadn't arrived an hour after placing our order.
