Walt Disney World Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe

Two visits to the magic kingdom. Today had the sloppy Joe vegan burger. Average really. But at least there was something Disney isn’t great for vegans. The other day I had the plant based hot dog at Casey’s on the corner of the main square. Similar standard.

I think it’s GREAT that Disney has a vegan item on the menu. And it’s listed as vegan and plant based! I very much appreciate the attempt and clear labeling. Sadly it didn’t taste great:p, but hopefully as vegan eating becomes more common it will improve! Thanks for trying Disney! :

My friend and I ate here for dinner and it was pretty good. we have both brought the burger to the moon, which is currently the only vegan option in this restaurant. it is an impossibility with guacamole, tomato and cauliflower. They have stations where they can add extra sauces (ketchup, senf, grill sauce, etc. to their meal. we ordered on the disney world app in advance, which I definitely recommend because we waited a bit for our eating. overall, eating was in order, but it was a pretty good business in considering the amount of food we got and that we were at disney world.

At my visit I ate the sloppy joh and pommes. the sand was okay. the taste was in order, the texture was decent, it was simply not the most amazing thing I had eaten.

December 2016, a veggie burger with fries was the ONLY vegan option and it was definitely not my favorite burger.
