The tuna entree was delicious when cut so that the bite was half cooked and half raw. Any bite where it was more than that amount raw just tasted as raw tuna. It was very good raw tuna but definitely not worth the cost. I would prefer if the tuna was cut into the chunks and then cooked on all sides rather than cooked on all sides then cut. The wasabi sauce was delicious and had the smooth taste of wasabi that served well with the tuna. The white sauce was super bland and lacked any flavor notes other than milky. The star of the dish was surprisingly the rice balls which had a semisweet sauce that was perfect on its own but also did well with the wasabi sauce. Regarding the bread starter, it was very savory and a good start to the dinner. Of the sides I tried, the risotto tots were the stand out with an amazing texture and sauce with a slight kick that is absent from the rest of the menu. For dessert, I had the chocolate mousse trio. I highly recommend it for mousse lovers. The different flavors and accents helped balance out the richness of it all. The cherry jam under the milk chocolate mousse was my favorite. Though there are definitely better seafood places around the area, this is still one to go to if you have the money.
The food is really amazing here (whole snapper cooked perfectly with amazing accompaniments) and other beautiful entrées. Service was attentive, but the server seemed a bit rushed/out of breath. I honestly don’t fault the man because the post-Disney crowd has to be appalling to deal with and he was still attentive and friendly. While the food is good, the restaurant doesn’t feel like a destination restaurant, due to the vast amount of tourists (I was one,in this case) and the potential for families with noisy kids. However,if you’re traveling and are looking for a more upscale dining experience after the park, this is it. The wine list is extensive, our (5 of us) entrees were excellent. I felt the appetizers weren’t great. The crab nachos were the definite low point. They either weren’t executed properly or need to be re-vamped
Bluezoo is delicious. It’s like a taking a trip under the sea to be wined and dined. Located inside the Dolphin resort, it’s a short walk if you’re staying on property and a short drive if you’re staying near the dolphin. Our waiter Brandon was charismatic and honest when it came to ordering. He knew the menu very well and was able to steer us into the meals we would find most tasteful. If you like cocktails, try the blueberry lemonade. The appetizer with scallops and short rib is one of their best sellers and was our favorite thing we ordered. The tuna entree is another popular choice and it’s very fresh. Thick cuts of seared tuna, thin and crispy wonton wafers and a wasabi puree and ginger glaze that will rock your taste buds. The lobster bucatini was well portioned for the pasta and the lover was melt in your mouth tender. The flat bread was great. Truffles and mushroom. It’s a large serving. The tuna tarts is also very good and has a display with dry ice. I highly recommend it. The desserts were top notch with the berry cobbler winning our hearts. The citrus tart is very Florida. If you like citrus and clean palate, you will throughly enjoy it.
Dinner on Super Bowl Sunday. I sat right away and everyone was kind. We were not in the resort, so we validated our parking lot. Bread service is good, except for the wound we did not like. We don't like devastation anyway, so I can't blame them. We have the crabs afteros as our appetizer and it was very good! She got the signature Bluezoo cocktail that was sweet, I got the flaming orange that puts on a pretty show as your server will light it on fire. For Entrees I got the Asian Prime Rock Steak, which was phenomenal. Definitely a top 10 of everything I've eaten. She has the lobster that was also great! To dessert we got the chocolate cake, which was a good way to finish the meal. It was a little gross and energetic because the Super Bowl came to a conclusion, but it was never a problem.
Surprised that this place has only 4 stars on Google Maps, this was simply the best meal we had in Orlando all week. The restaurant is located on the ground floor of the Disney Dolphin Hotel and has a busy bus. The appetizers we ordered were all great, especially the scallops with rind and mussels. Fish was excellent and all fresh we tried salmon, mahi mahi and Snapper. The Crabmeat Dijon Sauce stood out, very smooth and bisque like. We were stuffed but had to try Dessert the Molten chocolate cake is highly recommended, one of the best I ever had! Children's dishes were well prepared also the cheese pizza was delicious and really huge, definitely more than a child can finish. Oh, and we loved the Serenity cocktail, a refreshing mix of cucumbers Wodka and St Germain Holunderlauge, with lubricated strawberries and lime. The service of David was excellent, he was warm, funny and very courteous, although he had fucked a few tables. Thanks for a great night!
