Kona Café - Lake Buena Vista

Fun, went out for breakfast and a pregame drink. Food was great the Spice rubbed salmon is a great take on Lox, personally, I think it is better then most I have tried. Smokiness was mild, but pleasant. My drink was very well made!.

Kona Cafe for dinner was a great experience. We enjoyed the short rib and the steak dinners with the delicious Hawaiian rolls.and butter accompaniments. The portions were perfect. We were so full, but we opted to get the bread pudding to go for dessert. They have changed their menu to include a variety of sushi options. There is a selection of cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic drinks to pair with your meal. On previous visits, we have enjoyed the chicken wings and pot stickers, as well. We have never had a bad meal here. It is one of our favorite locations, though we usually come for breakfast or lunch. We also visited for lunch on Thanksgiving. I enjoyed the stir fry with chicken, and my husband enjoyed the Thanksgiving dinner and pumpkin tart.

We really enjoyed our dinner at Kona Cafe. Our waitress Mary was excellent and so friendly. I enjoyed the Poke bowl, it had delcious and unique aromas and especially very fresh fish. This is a very good option for a causal dinner outside the parks and you can never go wrong with Mac and cheese at Disney. Had the most important lime dessert parfait and it was a tropical explosion of taste. Surely the Tonga Toast will try again for breakfast.

Great food, good service, but if you don't want spicy food, make sure to specify it. My friend ordered a Poke bowl and it came garnished with this SUPER hot red pepper, she asked the server when they were hot and he didn't really say, but once she touched it with her lips, she felt like hot lava that touched her mouth. She drank 2 glasses of water and ate the whole bread basket to rehearse everything except pepper. I had the pineapple drink and it was great, actually served in a pineapple. The short rib is absolutely crazy, just hit in the mouth. Sushi was also good and the wings were delicious.
