Pounders - LAIE

We enjoy our escape. our server could answer our questions to the entrees. very nice atmosphere too. we enjoyed lunch and dinner here. also the tarorolls enjoyed.

We live near the restaurant, so this is not new to us. first everything was in order. we were asked if we wanted to sit inside or outside, but I stated inside when I made the reservation. I was surprised to be asked, but my wife preferred it outside so it was good. I had the feeling that it was downhill when we were sitting most far from the restaurant as it could be outside. the waiter was fast to get our drinks, and we needed a few minutes to decide what to order. the waiter was overwhelmed when some other parties were sitting with us. he forgot us and we waited for at least 30 minutes to put a request. we were an hour in the restaurant before we got our food. I wasn't angry, because we had a good time to talk to each other. the food was good. we come here because pounders is the only decent restaurant in this opposite to dinner. I post this kind of review because this is not the only time I had similar experiences here. I am patient with this place because it usually works college students from byu hawaii here. We rarely have the same person waiting for us. I hope tourists who visit are so patient!

We have eaten and lived in pounders last year. but they have changed the menu...printed menus now look cheap.

Food was great, Had Pounders Burger, loved it and the fries. Wife had the special, Marlin was amazing and huge portion. Only drawback, put us as close to the kitchen as possible in a boot.

It took 30 minutes or longer for us to get the food. but eating is good.
