Best Fast Food Joint. Don't get it confused for new stuff. This is old skool nostalgia.
I visited Master Biryani in Lahore (Liberty Market). That was adjacent to Master Biryani. I didn't tasted the food so I can't comment. However I have tasted baryani (Master Baryani) it was great. Recommended.
Tried their food on recommendation. Chicken Burger was really good and reminded us of old days. Chicken Shawarma was also good. Prices are a bit on the higher side. Service is an area which needs improvement. All waiters are well above retirement age and lack enthusiasm. Even they are reluctant to show their menu, said only shawarma and burger available (although they have variety in their menu), and refused to give a receipt. I found all younger staff either dispensing things or sitting. Parking/takeaway space is very limited. Also, they informed me that there was no dine in option there.
Re discovered this place after being out of the country almost 20 years! Literally couldn 't believe my eyes...it was still there, but no longer just a hole in the wall, it 's expanded! Back then their Shawarma was the only authentic one (not the awful spicy desi version on every street corner nowadays and also the only one that didn 't cause stomach issues for me. The difference now is the wrap is more like a naan rather than the thin wrap it used to be, and the sauce isn 't quite as tangy. I vividly remember how my mouth used to water when eating this. The tanginess has been toned down BUT it still tastes amazing and even though I 'd come to Gulberg especially for a 'Karachi cheese garlic mayo paratha roll ' across the road from Paradise, I can confidently say this shawarma tasted much better than that roll did. So glad to see this still going strong after all these years, and still keeping it authentic. Well done and keep it up : EDIT: Have just ordered this after a year and unfortunately both the taste and quality has changed. Shawarma is no longer authentic, but now the dreaded 'desi ' version. Even the tangy sauce has gone. Tried the club sandwich and the chicken in it was dry and smelly. Couldn 't eat it. As they say...all good things come to an end :
