Pizzeria Da Franco - Lahnau

Close to the new excavation site at Waldgirmes with its only Roman city East of the Rhine. The tasty lasagne is served in individual gratin dishes.

We stayed in the next door Das Kleine Hotel, also good. Great menu choice, lovely food. The garden terrace is pleasant.

Very conveniently located (next door) to our hotel we went to this Restaurant. The menu ist typical German Italian style with the standard range of Pasta and Pizza dishes although on the top end of the tastiness. Paste nice, Pizza excellent PLUS it has some not so typical extensions to the menu: i.e. pizza with spicy meatballs, Mushrom ravioli (both very delicious) and some other excellent things extending it from a standard italian restaurant to a special one. We enjoyed our meals very much!

Sitting at the sunset in the beer garden of da franco is a pleasure. after a very turbulent working day I could really relax here. the team of da franco was friendly, friendly and pampered me at an evening with a glass prosecco and a homemade pasta dish, followed by an espresso. the next night I ordered from the card with a spatula with butter sauce and sauce hollandaise. both dishes were very deliciously prepared. for the evening hours the beer garden was very quickly empty and back into the gaststube, ideal for me, I had the beer garden almost for me alone. in the menu were next to the current spa gel card, many pasta and pizza dishes, but also fish, meat variations are sufficient. the wine card offered a lot of possibilities of Italian and international weeping to travel to various. for me both stays were very pleasant, I felt very comfortable and will certainly be back in when I am in this environment.
