Spike's Fish House - Laguna Niguel

The food was fantastic! My wife and I shared the yellowtail, brown rice, and grilled vegetables, along with the superfood salad topped with Ahi tuna. The prices were reasonable, just what I would expect for seafood at most restaurants. The space was a bit cozy, but still very comfortable.

Spikes Fish House, which recently opened in Laguna Niguel, features a variety of gluten-free options on its regular menu, so a separate gluten-free menu is not necessary for those with allergies. This fast and healthy fish restaurant truly caters to a wide range of dietary needs.

I ordered the Poké bowl, and the sauce had a vibrant citrus flavor. The spices added just the right amount of warmth. I opted for a half-and-half bowl with brown rice, which was substantial, but I think it would be even better with white rice. The fresh fish was excellent, and the greens were crisp and fresh. Overall, it was a well-prepared meal. The staff was incredibly friendly and very helpful. I would definitely recommend treating yourself to a Poké dish or something else at Spike's.

For over 10 years here, for several very good reasons... Not only the food is excellent, but the staff and the service are impeccable. The owner clearly holds both restaurants to very high standards. The quality of fish and shrimp, really everything on the menu, is consistently the best out there. You have a flame grill and the grill guys always do a good job to make sure everything is delicious. The Grats at the counter could not be more beautiful and are extremely polite and helpful when ordering even when it is busy. Great place, great food, great people. BTW, don't miss Taco Tuesdays.
