Starfish-laguna Beach

We made a reservation here for an early mother? Lunch. They had a table with a high chair for us since we brought our 9 month olds. We ordered their happy hour menu (we go to 6:00 I think) and got some sushi rolls and some potstickers. Everything was delicious! The fish was so fresh and creamy. UPDATE TO MY REVIEW from a ONE Star to a 5 FIVE Star: I was contacted by the manager about my review and was asked if I would be willing to experience in-person fining and see if they could make it up to me. I booked my reservation for 6 (friends joined us that had never been). Our most amazing waiter, Alexis (she is truly the best, we were told she no longer worked at Starfish) came to our table once we were seated (one point scored Starfish). Once we ordered food, Alexis double-checked the food ticket, double-checked food ingredients, and double-checked food once it came out!! Our night was perfect with amazing food that didn't make me sick, and I didn't have an allergic reaction to!! I would like to say that Starfish has redeemed themselves and has me as a customer once again! THANK YOU FOR CARING. This was a favorite place of mine, especially because they have always been so careful with food allergies. The last 3 times I have gone, I've gotten sick. Everything was supposed to be gluten-free, dairy-free, and nut-free, but the garlic noodles had a garlic allergy alert versus a gluten allergy. This is the last time I visit them.

Delicious!! Went with a group, the ambiance was perfect for a Saturday evening, lively music, friendly wait staff. We sat inside. The decor is so chic and reminded me of something you would see in New York. We ordered several dishes and drinks. Everything we ordered was amazing. Amongst the group, there was not a single item that someone in the group didn?t care for. This is so rare. Absolutely recommend coming here and checking it out.

At the first visit of Starfish during our annual pilgrimage to Laguna. I wish we had come here years ago. There is something for everyone on the menu! The highlights were the Korean tacos, the Japanese aubergines Sichuan and the Macadamia entrusted praises. Marg was on the spot too! Prices are also very reasonable. Eddie's service was welcoming and friendly. Next year we eat here more than once. Thanks for a great evening.

We had such a WONDERFUL lunch today. The food was delicious, great prices and generous portions. The best part, however, was the attentive service we received. Our server, Jesse, went beyond and beyond. We could say he loved being there and taking care of our experience. I think from now on this will be our place. Good food and warm people. I'd give it 10 stars if I could.
