Venucci - Lagrange

The food here just isn't that good. The bread is amazing, that is the best part. The pasta is bland with no taste. Chicken was overcooked. Tortellini tasted like ones from the freezer isle.

The table bread, salads and service were amazing. They also had a full bar, but no cocktail menu. I got the chicken alla Rosa. The serving sizes here are generous but the sauce was very runny and since the chicken was sitting on top, it became inedibly soggy quickly. The sauce also had a mushroom cream base that was not listed on the menu. Overall the dish was simultaneously overwhelming and below expectations. The taste of the dish wasn 't on par with other vodka sauces. I 'm fine with a restaurant that has dishes not for me but serving something with allergens without it being listed on the menu is in bad taste. The chicken tortellini was very similar in that the sauce was runny and the dish was underwhelming.

Beautiful little Italian Restaurant tucked into a storefront on Main Street. Delicious food and wine. Excellent service. Would have given 5 stars but my shrimp were over cooked. The scallops were perfectly cooked, not tough or gritty. My husband’s lamb chops and scallops were excellent.

Absolutely delicious! And the portions were huge. Chicken parmigiana and the eggplant parmigiana were amazing!! Definitely recommend.

The food was exceptionally delicious. The customer service was phenomenal, and the atmosphere made us feel right home.
