Restaurante Jotta 13 - Lagos

A limited menu but we enjoyed a pleasant meal. It was very quiet so service was prompt and efficient. Lamb stew was fine but wasn’t really a stew rather braised lamb pieces with roast potatoes. Reasonably priced but only took cash. We were told that before ordering but seems strange that card machine ‘not working’

Last ate here in 2016 and had an embarrassing time when we paid bill in that we were told they did not accept cards despite no prominent sign. It was hidden on an opened door. Move on 7 years, through Covid, when we were all encouraged not to handle cash and this restaurant’s machine is still broke!!!

We waited 48 minutes for our food to arrive. I had to go and ask the waiter if he had forgotten about us. He was not friendly. When the food finally arrived, in the House Specialty seafood rice, 8 out of 10 of the clams were closed which means they were dead when cooked and not fresh. I pointed this out to the waiter. He shrugged and before walking away said “they are usually supposed to be open”. No sh*t Sherlock! What a let down. There are so many good places to dine in Lagos it’s best to avoid this one.

Vraiment pas cher et pour le coup super copieux et surtout bon!! Une très bonne surprise, car il y a souvent des places assises ici à avoir!
