Pastelaria Pao Doce - Lagos

Stopped in for a quick breakfast while staying in Lagos. A nice variety of pastries, including delicious pastel de nata. We also had an apple pastry that was quite good. Very friendly staff and a cute place to get a quick bite.

My family and I found this place on the 4th day of our holiday and have been for breakfast every morning since. The staff are lovely and very welcoming Fabio is brilliant with the kids. Food is beautiful and so, so reasonably priced. Can't recommend highly enough

Pão Doce has changed hands recently, {9th January) so this is a comment on the new version. Physically not much has changed as the tenant rented with the previous fixtures and furniture. It is in a good corner location near the skate park, with a terrace on two sides, where you can get out of the N and E winds, and bask in the sun or under an umbrella. A little away from the tourist area, so frequented by locals and resident expats mainly, and has a view of the City Walls Bread and croissants are fresh daily, and they will make most combinations to order. The usual pastelaria offerings are available and the coffee is good. I don't think they do daily lunches at present. In all a clean pleasant cafe. I had an open croissant with tomato and melted cheese which was very nice. Recommended
