I went several times to this place to have dinner but each time the restaurant was closed. Finally, I got my timing right. I ordered the complete chicken piripiri dinner. First came the fresh bread and olives, a carafe of red wine, the main course of crispy grilled chicken, rice and green peas and salad, and dessert. They also offered me a coffee but I turned it down. I had my meal outside which was perfect on a warm night. When the bill came, I was delightfully surprised. It was only 9 euros which I thought was fantastic value. The chef is a young man ... friendly, cheerful and polite. Next time, I will order the other dishes they offer. Fantastic value.

We arrived today at 3pm hoping for some sardines. Unfortunately the BBQ was closed down after the lunch session but they could not have tried harder to give us a good meal. After some hilarious misunderstandings due to our poor Portuguese we ended with a bitoque each with salad and amazing red hot chips (a rare treat for me). With starter, coffee and beer the whole lot was €19 only, and served by some very friendly and helpful people. My second visit there but not my last.
