Native Foods - Lagos

The environment is nice and conducive, the food is prepared fresh but took almost an hour before my order was taken. The food is quite expensive. A plate of native beans and yam porridge with protein is over 4k

I was very disappointed with the service at this restaurant. We were served food on broken plates, which is unacceptable. When we asked the waiter to call the manager so we could file an official complaint, she told us that the manager wouldn't come. We insisted, but she returned to inform us that the manager had refused to address our concerns. The customer service was terrible, and the food wasn't great either. I won't be returning to this establishment.

The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere, and the staff is friendly. They permitted us to stay for up to three hours before asking us to leave, but informed us that we needed to either order more food or pay for a reservation. We were interested in getting drinks, but they declined our request. My friend and I ordered the native jollof rice along with watermelon juice. The food was decent, though the beef could have been more tender. On a positive note, the restroom was clean and well-maintained.

This was my second visit, and I would rate it a 6.5 out of 10. The food was good, the service was average, and the atmosphere was pleasant, although it was busier than on my previous visit.

The only downsides to our visit were the customer service and the lack of music. The waitress who attended to us was quite unfriendly, and it took several attempts to get her attention. When she finally came over, it felt like I was bothering her. Additionally, it would have been helpful to place our order using the large tablet that displays the menu or at least receive a cost estimate. Overall, the food was excellent, but the service could use some improvement.
