Another great dinner last night, I had the veal stew, which was so good I had it twice! Friendly staff. Mario always makes you feel welcome and at home. Great for lunch or dinner and very good value.

Friendly service and local vibe! WiFi was available which made it easy to use Google Translate on the camera setting to “read” the menu in English. CASH ONLY. for the daily plate—includes a house wine, entree, vegetable/potatoes, dessert and coffee. Fish options vary based...on availability. We enjoyed the excellent pork skewers pork shank and the yummy desserts (house dessert was like a pecan cream pudding) and a cookie-cake similar to tiramisu. I highly recommend this for travelers that are comfortable getting off the beaten path!

I've been coming here with family for some years. The food is always typically Portuguese, well cooked and most generously portioned. The menu isn't long but there's something for every taste. The waiting staff are amongst the friendliest I've come across and mostly bi lingual...The wine list the most comprehensive I've seen for many a year, from good local wines to collectors pieces for many hundreds of euros. Deserts are home made and super. I keep coming back for obvious reasons

The set price menu had great choice, great food and was great value. The staff were very friendly and really good with our children.
