The Grille At Highland Lakes

Mediocre food and rude staff! We arrive at 8:40 (we were out by 9:10 we knew what we wanted) and after being seated our waitress shouts out I need a shot! Just when you think you 're getting to go home on time I would leave zero stars if I could. The gnarly gar has great food and great service at better prices!!

The views of being on the porch are lovely and breathetaking. Came here for our son 11th B Day and he enjoyed the area out and the views of the lake. The food was sooo tasty ? The boys really enjoyed the dessert!!!

WORSE SERVICE IN MY WHOLE LIFE! Took 15 minutes to even get an order of what to drink and eat. IT TOOK 45 minutes to even get FOOD FOR FOUR PEOPLE? and I would of been fine with but, another group of 6 people, got there appetizers 8 MINUTES AFTER THEY ORDERED?! and then got there food after 25 minutes with similar stuff that would take the same time. Had like 5 waiters?! Only ONE GUY out of the million waiters actually cared about us. Food was cold. Didn’t get food that was ordered with, had to ask for it. Hair strand in the mash potatoes. Didn’t get refills while we were waiting. No one checked up on us while waiting or eating. We finally were fed up with it and asked for the manager, the manager gave us this memorized apology, but seemed to not give to flying cares about what was generally wrong. Only thing he could say was “let me pay for one out of the many things were wrong”. I usually never really have the feeling to confront someone for bad service, but man. This was unbelievable. Was looking for a good place to eat but got the most horrendous service.

Was hoping for a nice dinner out but so disappointed. I can say the jalapeño blood orange margarita was decent. It was bingo night when we went so if you're not participating sit outside because it's super loud. Ordered appetizers and they were out of the bacon wrapped shrimp so we just got chips salsa and queso. Worst ever. Chips fried and burnt. Salsa had so much garlic it wasn't edible. Queso tasted like they pit American cheese slices in a cup and microwaved it. Took an hour before we got to order entrees and our waiter seemed surprised we wanted to order. Should have taken the cue. Hubby got fish tacos I got CFS. Just blah all of it. Worst side was the street corn. I love corn and it was like defrosted frozen corn with lime and Mayo, awful! Oh and they were out of corn tortillas for his tacos. Whole experience took 2 hours too long. They seem to pay more attention to the bingo drinkers than people wanting to dine there. Also view is beautiful but you're outside eating and people can just smoke wherever. There should be a designated area.

Touch an incredibly disappointing experience. We are from out of town and were told how incredible The Grille was. Our waiter was less than attentive. We waited more than 30 minutes for cocktails, that were not even great. If the place was even slightly crowded we would have understood. But that was not the case… once our food arrived (again after a VERY long wait) we were missing multiple items that came with our meals. After asking for them the staff brought them and basically threw them at our table. Once we said something to our waiter that this was not acceptable… he literally jokes goes “we will just fire her”Basically if you would like to wait an ungodly amount of time for your mediocre food, and then have awful service. This is the place for you.Enter at your own risk…
