Viva La Waffle - Lafayette

The food was very tasty. The service was fast, friendly, and courteous. The restaurant was very clean, neat, and modern. I didn't care for the atmosphere as the music was a bit too loud. Coupled with the brightness of the room and the echo from all the hard surfaces, having a quiet conversation over dinner was a bit difficult.

Tried the “The Classic” chicken and waffle. Side order of a hashbrown and tea. Chicken Waffle: too much pepper for me, burned my mouth. Tried to scrape off the sauce and still too hot. I ate it because I was hungry. The waffle itself was thinner than what I thought it would be it was soft floppy. The chicken was cooked well. I liked the pickles even though I had to scrape the sauce off of them. Hashbrown: good flavor, a bit over cooked or re-cooked. Tea: good.

They dont wear gloves… fingers go from phone to food… hepatitis waiting to happen

The Swiss cheese on the waffle made my daughter’s stomach upset immediately after biting into the sandwich. She went into the restroom at the restaurant while an employee was in the restroom to vomit. We asked the staff to make something else. They refused to come up with a resolution that everyone would benefit from.

Loved it. Clean and quick, good food. Waffles were crispy and fluffy without being overbearing.
