T-coon's - Lafayette

It was good and Julie was great as our server. Good for a breakfast break. We went first for the ignets and of course they were great! The smoked sausage was delicious.

My prayers were answered when I was looking for a unique Louisana-Cajun-Hole-in-the-wall-creole type of restaurant where last minute I could have a non-traditional type of breakfast when I went back to Texas. DANKE JESUS!!! I didn't even have to go to my phone to find a restaurant. This place is exactly what I was looking for (except the hole in the wall, although it seems built in a shopping center in the 1950s that never got a facelift). What really attracted me was when I saw young teenagers, middle adults and older people who went to a restaurant during the rush hour traffic at a school day!!! I would never let my children eat in the moderate restaurant!!! Would you? And my theory was right. Food was good, service was great, place was clean and not over price!!!! I honestly did not have the feeling of satisfaction and happiness when a breakfast joint in a long time. DANKE JESUS!!! I'll come back if I'm ever in the area.

People are very nice! Lacey was my server, and she helped me with the menu and checked me frequently. Great personality! Everything she proposed was great! Get the bacon!

Eating is good. I loved her leaving a coffee dispenser on my table so I could serve myself. I had the framed spinach and the sausage omelet. Yummy.

The smothered rabbit (Monday plate special) was absolutely amazing an awesome Cajun classic brilliantly executed and the warm and unpretentious setting and service remind me of why Lafayette is a magical place. What’s not to love?
