Lunch was delicious. I wanted to love Gouda Mac and cheese, but it was just okay. The good is that they have jucifer on **** (not always). The cocktail selection is also quite good. The fish tacos were really good. The Cajun Cuban was a pretty good surprise. The service is good, could use a little spruce, which means that a glass of water can not be enough for everyone, so just check in everyone now and again see if they want more. Overall pretty good place to eat or dinner and really like the menu now.
Great little place. The food is very delicious and fresh. It is clearly a local favorite. I would definitely recommend.
Cosy restaurant, make sure you make reservations when you plan to arrive! They had live music outside when we went, and even though we were sitting in, we could still hear because the speakers they had in the restaurant, what I thought was really cool. There are naturally indoor and outdoor seats. The best toast I got was a little disappointing, but the green Chile Burrito is created more than that. The brunch menu is a bit small, but all that everyone got at my table really enjoyed it. Although it's a small place, I didn't feel cramped. The staff was very attentive and helpful, although they were all pretty busy with a bunch of other customers! Parking can be a bit of pain, but this is just the downtown of Lafayette in general.
Saint Street Inn is easily one of the best restaurants in Lafayette. They offer delicious farm to table fare that takes risks and unusual pairings to their menu often. I've tried something new every time I visit and I've never been disappointed. During my last visit, I had the buttermilk biscuits, which were outstanding. I also had the cheese grits, hummus, and white gravy. All of these were delicious. This is a great place for a date as well.
