Poké Geaux Johnston - Lafayette

The ingredients are super fresh, and there’s a wide variety of quality options to choose from, along with friendly service! This was my first visit to this location, and it will definitely become my new favorite spot. I had the "2 to Tango" bowl with a base of greens and coconut rice, and it was incredible. They also surprisingly serve some of the best Boba milk tea smoothies I’ve ever had. That’s a must-try on a hot day (which seems to be almost every day right now). I highly recommend it!

I hadn't been to this restaurant in about four years, but I decided to stop by today. I was genuinely shocked by the price I paid for a poke bowl with three proteins—$16.97! I remember it being around $10 a few years ago. When did the prices increase so much? The presentation was poor, and there wasn't much fish in it. I won't be returning. This location doesn't have the same enjoyable atmosphere as the one on Ambassador.

Unfortunately, my experience at this restaurant was disappointing. The cleanliness left much to be desired, and the service was rude. The fish portions were far too small for the prices they charged. I used to really enjoy this place, so it's disheartening to see it decline. Food rating: 2/5.

4 stars for service and options. However the bowl we purchased from the specials menu definitely lacked flavor and was dry. I would add different sauces next time. It was the Poke GEAUX Classic. (first option on the menu all the way to the left when you walked in) Salmon. Again, fish was good and fresh, but the bowl was very dry, even with the sauce that came with the bowl. It was the poke GEAUX classic sauce.

Soooo fresh. Such a great treat for lunch break. I always feel reenergized after the Poke Geaux Classic. I add extra ginger.
