Mi Tierra - Lafayette

This Mexican restaurant is truly the best in terms of authenticity. Having lived near the Mexican border and enjoying authentic cuisine, I can confidently say that this is not Tex-Mex.

The food is decent, but the pupusa could use more flavor. The black bean pupusa had a burnt taste to it. The customer service from the young English-speaking server could be friendlier towards American English speakers. I enjoy supporting Indigenous-owned businesses, but there are a few issues that could be easily resolved with more attention to detail.

We have to wait over 1 hour. eating was not so good that we ask the lady what this is waiting for. are eating and she said if we don't like to wait for them to give us money back. after the waste

This place was clean, business at that point was not overwhelming. Large portions are served. Baleadas was delicious. Would encourage anyone to give them a try. You won't be disappointed!!!

I would have given it 5 stars because the food tastes soo good, but the place is so full most of the time that the wait is longer than i would like.
