Izzo's Illegal Burrito Lafayette River Marketplace

The first time in this place. The service was good. The Lord who helped me was very informative and did good work. It's been a few years since I was in an Izzo and I remember it's so good. I loved the pig Burrito, but this time it was just okay. I don't know if the company approved something or not because I'm sure everything is hot is probably prepared and simply heated. All the blows were fresh, it was just not as good as I remembered. Not a bad place for a quick bite, but I prefer to spend my dollars for something more unforgettable.

I understand that many people highly recommend this restaurant, but for us, it was just average. The chicken and beef in the burrito bowl were served at room temperature, and the value for sharing was moderate.

I had a chicken burrito bowl, and it was fantastic! I really appreciate that you can customize it to be quite healthy, which also means it's low in Weight Watchers points for me. My only issue was that when I ordered a tortilla, it came out a bit cold; I don't think they warm it up.

The dining area was overrun with gnats, and the tables were not clean. I can't imagine anyone wanting to swat away bugs while trying to eat. I typically enjoy Izzos, but the conditions inside really killed my appetite!

Eating was just bussin. The Matthew type, which normally works the grill, made an amazing burrito, best I've ever seen. I mean 10/10 Burrito. He tried 100%. But his employees weren't as good as him. I think her name was Samantha?, she was quite disrespectful. And Peyton? Idk she was rude to Matthew, which was not true. He's really the best worker there.
