Cow-a-bunga Creamery - Lafayette

Perhaps controversial, but IMHO this is the best local ice cream place all around. Great flavors, great service, good prices.

I just want to give kudos to Brooke and Wyatt who worked Friday night May 5th 2023. After our shakes had been messed up earlier in the week when we visited cowabunga they did their utmost best to correct the mistake and made excellent shakes for me and my family. These two were working by themselves on a busy Friday night they definitely deserve a raise, they are very good hard workers and I congratulate them on that keep up the good work Brooke and wyatt. Excellent shakes!!!!

Incredible ice cream! They had flavors for everyone, including some of our favorites. Addie, Brooke, and Lily were extremely attentive and assisted us in choosing our ice cream (it was tough to decide with so many options!). Their positive attitudes really stood out. I would rate the staff a perfect 10/10! We will definitely be returning for more!

We're visiting from Iowa and were on the lookout for some ice cream when we stumbled upon this hidden gem! The young woman at the counter was so friendly and mentioned how much she loves Iowa (my husband was wearing a T-shirt). She even let us sample all the unique and fun flavors! The ice cream was fantastic, and the service was excellent! If you're in town, make sure to dash over to this place after dinner! It's absolutely delicious! And hey, come visit Iowa sometime!

I ordered a root beer float, and while it was just okay—not particularly impressive—the service was outstanding! So I'm giving it 5 stars regardless!
