Baba Kabab - Lafayette

I had an excellent experience at the restaurant today. The wait staff was very friendly. We were the only ones eating inside, but it was around 2PM so late in the afternoon. The food was very tasty. I would definitely come back again to try more dishes. The grape leaves we had were some of the best in town, if not the best. My brother ordered a pizza which was cooked perfectly and very good. I had the lamb stew clay pot, which was delicious. I am looking forward to trying the kabab next time. This is actually my first time dining out this year as I haven't felt the need, but it was enjoyable and I will definitely be returning.

For our mains, we enjoyed the Lamb Stew, which featured lamb cubed with potato, cabbage, and flavorful spices served with basmati rice. The lamb was tender and full of flavor. We also tried the Mozzat, a slow-cooked lamb shank served on a bed of basmati rice - the meat was incredibly tender and fell off the bone. Overall, the experience was fantastic and I highly recommend making a trip back for more. This restaurant is the ultimate destination for Mediterranean food lovers. The freshly baked pita and generous sampler platter are all you need for a delicious meal. But what sets them apart is their unique and freshly prepared kabobs, such as the flavorful lamb, paired with tasty sides like the recommended bhurgul.

Good ambiance. Good zaatar. Knafe needs real white unsalted cheese, and the topping shud be finer wen prepared and applied. Yousef is a gracious host.

Hands down the richest flavors and spices experienced in a very long time. Everything we tasted was delicious. Staff was friendly and served us well. The chef came to our table to ask if we enjoyed the meal, which we did. The owner opened the door and wished us a good night as we left. The fire and presentation of the meals added an element of discussion and surprise. Many tables took pictures as the food was delivered.
