Barnacle Barney's - Ladysmith

We stumbled across Barnacle Barney's on the way to Victoria. Pretty happy we did. The restaurant has an old school retro diner feel which I loved. We shared the halibut special - two piece fish, chips and coleslaw. Plenty of food for two people. I didn't try the Chinese food however I heard it is good. Heaps of locals in there for lunch.

We stopped in with a group of 7 - one waitress who was quick and friendly. Very clean with a nice retro feel. Food was excellent - very diversified. Good portion size

We visited Ladysmith to have Chinese food at another restaurant, but when we found it closed, we ended up at Barnacle Barney's. The Chinese food was very good, fresh and hot. I will definitely return for more good food. The decor is nice and it's very clean.

Great place with quick and friendly service! We had the halibut fish and chips and the barny burger.

Moved to Roberts & 1st ave in Ladysmith...hoping to open Oct 24th. Much nicer facility and I'm sure the Chinese food will be as good as it was in Chemainus.
