Beaver Hill Shell - Lac La Biche

So we stopped eating here because this was the place that was recommended to us to eat. I was very careful with the whole thing, but because the other place that was recommended was A

I stopped checking this place. It's so clean and the food is delicious. Can't wait to visit again!

We went past this place and it seemed modern and closer to what we were looking for, so we decided to stop. On the surface this looks like any other food store that can be found near a petrol station. It's more than that. There is a seating area if you want to eat and a complete menu café. Their speciality is stone oven thin crust pizza. We ordered the barbecue chicken in the 12 inch size. It was the right size to share and it was delicious. This was made very fresh. I had a coffee too. They gave me a cup and I could fill them with a selection of about 3 or 4 coffee varieties. I chose dark and it was the best coffee so far in Lac La Biche. I noticed on the menu above the order counter that they also make breakfast, sandwiches and soups. Of course there is a gas station plus a car wash under the same group of buildings. The most distant building had a brew pub that could make a great place for dinner and beer. In Lac La Biche there is not much to eat, at least that I have seen so far. I can tell you that next time we don't feel like cooking in the RV, that's where we go, at least until we find something better. Yeah, the coffee and the pizza were really so good. I noticed a number of locals eating here and they need to know the food scene better than a visitor like me. But I can't give five stars because you're basically still in a tank store with all the ambience that comes with it. I recommend you try this place, and maybe even the beer pub next door.

Awesome food and great service. If you’re ever in Lac La Biche or driving through stop there for gas and a little break. Try Their donairs the best I ever tasted.

This is a must for anyone stopping in the area. Or perhaps your new local fav. Do yourself a favour and have a plate here you won’t regret it.
