I ordered a few items, including two five-piece tender meals, and the wait was supposedly because they were preparing everything fresh. However, my popcorn chicken was cold, the fries were cold, and the ice cream you served me 20 minutes earlier was already melted. I’m really frustrated. If you're going to take the time to prepare fresh chicken, you should make sure everything else is fresh too—especially when customers have to wait over 20 minutes. Waiting isn’t an issue, but receiving cold food and melted ice cream after that long wait for fresh chicken is definitely a problem for me.
We returned to the restaurant and explained the situation, and once again, the staff was very pleasant and understanding. However, after checking our order again once we were out of the drive-thru, we realized it was still incorrect in a different way, and the sides were still missing. After another trip through the drive-thru, we finally received the correct order, and the mistakes were given to us as a way to make up for the inconvenience. I appreciate the gesture, but it highlighted that it truly matters only when mistakes are caught by us. It shouldn’t have taken three attempts to ensure our order was prepared correctly, and the service was quite slow. I won’t be overly critical and give a one-star review because it wasn’t that bad. The food was well made, albeit incorrect, and the employees were kind but didn’t pay enough attention to detail. I don’t think I’ll return to this location, as this seems to be a recurring issue, and I initially thought it was just an isolated problem. SONIC is generally a great restaurant with good food, but I recommend being cautious when visiting this location, as it may not be the quickest option for fast food.
I normally never post bad reviews but this one needs to be placed. We went to sonic around 9pm after a long day of moving in. We waited at the parking order spot for almost 20 minutes. We decided to pull out and go through the drive thru, keep in mind othercars that were in the drive thru we?re getting orders and going quick. So we?re at the drive thru waiting for about 20 minuteswhen more cars start in. We got tired and frustrated so we drove up to the window when the heavy set gal with no bra said twopeople just left and they can?t do anything about us, and how since two people left she can?t touch her computer ? I was soconfused because right when we pulled up that girl and some others were just standing there laughing and chit chatting away.Unbelievable. Never coming here. Should?ve listened to the other negative reviews but thought I would?ve given it the benefit ofthe doubt. To Freddy?s we go!
If I could give this place a zero rating, I would. There’s always a wait of 10 to 15 minutes at the very least, regardless of whether they're busy or not. I often see the staff chatting or socializing with their friends at the tables instead of focusing on their work. It’s consistently slow—never quick, no matter when you go. If you're looking for a slow food experience, this restaurant is definitely the right choice for you.
I just went through the drive thru. I sat in line for 30 minutes. The manager was to busy yelling at the worker's the whole time. They didn't give me straws, no syrup for the French toast and I asked for onions added and that wasn't on their either. IfI spend 40$ I expect to get the basic things at least.
